| Linda is the primary babysitter of these two adorable children. I'm the helper. Introducing Miss Lola Daisy, 2 months old. Pleasant and happy.
Introducing her 15 month old brother, Little Steve. He is inquisitive. He wanted my phone and walked around the house in deep conversation with whoever was on the phone. He'd talk, then pause and look down - imitating his daddy, Big Steve. He adored Linda's Steve, so he is in a man-bonding phase for now.
We get to enjoy them about twice a month when Momma Amanda has massage clients. We are sooooo lucky.
| We celebrated Dylan's 17th birthday a day late, but it was even more fun. Here's the happy birthday boy!
That was before we found out his cake was frozen. It was an ice cream cake - cake above and below the ice cream in the middle. How many people did it take to cut this frozen solid cake - and how many knives? So this is Levi giving it advice to his little brother. It didn't work either.
So Dad got into the act. They actually tried a butcher, ginzo, and deer cutting knives and a spatula.
I just hoped Steve's hands were clean. Yes, that's the knife they finally used.

| Tonight was the big Millville Halloween Parade. It staged in front of my house so I had to go and see what was happening. The usual pirate float with pirates saying the required "Arrrrrrr".
This lady caught my eye and I had to laugh
I saw these two as they arrived on the scene. Their costumes seemed to glow.
This cute little boy wasn't sure if he wanted his photo taken or not. Before getting back on his tractor, he was groovin' to the music. He wasn't getting ON the tractor, he was relaxin'.
These kids were all ready to ride the parade route.
This precious little girl is a candy corn. She wasn't too happy...can you tell?

| Made a new purse for the fall season.
Didn't applique the outside, but only put veins in with gold thread. If the bonding doesn't hold, the leaves will look natural - all curled up.
Guess I better get busy on a Christmas one, too.
| I mentioned several weeks ago about going to Bethlehem with my friend for her pre-op tests. Yesterday we went back for her POST-op checkups. Praise God...she is clear of cancer. The dr said the site on her cheek had clear edges and the lymph node had no cancer. What a relief. She will be returning to work on November 13. And what a trip. It rained. We traveled Route 80, the turnpike and Route 22/378. Lots of trucks and their spray all over. We missed the exit for Bethlehem on the turnpike and had to go on to Quakertown and circle back. THEN we had to circle back to Quakertown for her other appointment. Her son came up from Philadelphia to meet us and get some mail from his mom. Somehow I missed the turn back onto Route 309 from the dr's office. He has a gps (guess what will be on MY Christmas list) and he found us. In all, the news was good, the trip was miserable and I was in bed by 9 pm. | | |
